Well, I don't draw for money. I draw because I enjoy doing it. The only reason that I charge for commissions is to limit the amount that I get. Before I did this, I had people that would request five drawings at a time. It was insane! I also had people who would waste my time by requesting stupid pictures that made absoloutely no sense at all. I guess paid commissions filter out all the stupid requests and I know that the people who order them really want them.

I don't make my commissions as overly expensive as some other fantasy artists that I've seen on the web. I feel like you shouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg for good art.
